the social season

We know its spring when the birthday parties start gobbling up most of our weekends... Luckily for us, Caleb has wonderful friends and he has so much fun celebrating with them.

This is our first year growing (a couple) carrots, and our first one pulled from the ground was big, orange and yummy! Well, the one bite Caleb let me have was yummy...

Everyone is sick

By our spring in photos can you tell that we've been MIA for large chunks of time? Its been an awful season for chest colds and it seems like Zoe has gotten them all.  This last round hit us all and added infections and fevers and general malaise.  This pretty much sums it up:

Through the window

Easter!

We went up to Seattle to help keep Grandma Lila company after her knee operation.  I flew with both of the kids by myself for the first time.  It was exhausting.  No surprise there.  Caleb stayed with Yia Yia and Papou until Easter so there was a little less chaos while Grandma Lila was recovering.  It poured rain on Easter, so the eggs were inside, but we had sunshine the day before.
