Picnic

We had a little picnic at the Emeryville marina with some friends and family-trying to take advantage of the little time we have left before we are inundated with all that comes with a newborn. The watermelon was a big hit.

Baby?

The new bassinet came, so the baby will have a place to sleep until Caleb is officially ready to give up his crib-not that he has slept in it for a couple weeks now. He thought he should try out the baby's new bed, though, and make sure it is comfortable enough for her.

Tilden Park

We were supposed to meet some of Caleb's class friends at one of the largest parks in the Bay Area... Google Maps sent us in the wrong direction and we got very lost, but found our way to the steam train. Eventually, we also found one of Caleb's friends, Dylan, and they were able to play together in the dirt, grass and mud, poking at bugs with sticks and doing their favorite things.

Exploring the new park

Emeryville's new park finally opened and after passing it everyday on the way to school, watching the construction, we were excited to go check it out.
