Its Summer, darn it.

The weather has been awful here this summer. We are all hoping for a super nice fall to make up for it. But today, the sun finally came out, and I wanted to do something that felt like it was ACTUALLY August. So even though the dash only read 68, we headed to Lake Temescal and went swimming. It was beautiful and just what we all needed. It is amazing that this lovely little sandy spot surrounded by trees could be only five miles' drive from our (very urban) home. Lucky us.

Munch Munch

Yes, we just had a whole bunch of eating pictures, but look at how good she is getting at feeding herself! And look how cute she is while doing it!

So, what do you do all day?

Get up, bottle, crawl around mom who is in denial about it being time to get up while dad hops in shower, giggle with Caleb, watch the morning chaos while eating, say good-bye to boys, nap, terrorize the cat, crawl, stand, terrorize the cat some more, eat lunch, nap, play with daddy and Caleb while mom makes dinner, eat some more, play, bottle, bed. Repeat.

Busy Z

Miss Zoe has been really busy around here. Trying to walk. And making good progress towards it, too. It was sort of like: "Crawl? Check. On to the next." She is determined.

Temescal Sundays

We shopped the Temescal Farmer's Market and met Emily and Dan there. We walked on over to Bakesale Betty's and had ourselves some lunch.

We were restless. It was dinner time. What to do? We took dinner to go and had a picnic even though it was cold and foggy.
