Lake Tahoe Day 3

Day three morning consisted of more lake and playground. The afternoon was filled with more swimming pool.

Lake Tahoe Day 2

We poked at ants in the front yard of the house before driving to the lake. Yes, the lake was cold, no Caleb didn't really seem to mind much.

Lake Tahoe Day 1

Our neighbors, Juliet and Diego, invited us to share their friends' house up in Truckee with them and their son, Dash, for Memorial weekend. It was Caleb's idea of heaven. He fell asleep in the car in the midst of strip malls and woke up in trees. The whole trip was full of parks, the lake, the swimming pool... All "yeses" and not a lot of "nos."

We hit one of our local parks after breakfast Sunday morning. Beautiful weekend.

Best Mother's Day Ever

I got to sleep in! and get woken up to Caleb, Henry, Luke and banana bread! in bed. Caleb had a lot of fun eating all of the banana bread. Then, we went to brunch in North Berkeley and after nap we met Dash at a favorite park for more sand and water play (it was a very sandy weekend). We had to strip the boys done to their nappies before loading them in the car.

Beach at Alameda

For a little something different, we finally explored the beach on Alameda. Caleb couldn't have been happier: sand, water, birds, ladybugs, bucket, shovel, dad and... SAND.

Junior Preschool

Caleb transitioned to junior preschool today. What this means is a new classroom, drinking out of cups without lids, napping on mats rather than cots and... ACCESS TO THE BIG PLAYGROUND. His teachers stay the same, as do his friends. Both of which we are very happy about. Here, is Caleb with his partner in crime, Dylan.
