Our flight was at 8:30 meaning that we all had to get up super early (and considering that our bodies haven't really adjusted yet, it felt even earlier). But everyone got it together and we were all ready for the cab to pick us up at 6:45.
Our Barcelona apartment is amazing, right in the middle of the Eixample with tall ceilings and beautiful tiled floors and a pretty balcony and great furniture and, and and ... We took our host's suggestion and ate at this super chic locavore/eco/bio (that's what they call organic here)/LEED certified lunch spot around the corner that made wonderful sandwiches and the kids almost ruined our lunch because they were BASKET CASES.
Siesta.
They woke up much more pleasant and we headed out to where we were told by many people had Barcelona's best tapas. I haven't eaten around Spain but... yum.
