First Haircut

I waited as long as I could, but hair was in Caleb's eyes and the yogurt, paint and sand was getting harder to get out of his long locks so we took Caleb to get his first haircut. It started out okay... Caleb was watching the other kid get his hair cut and The Bee Movie on the TV and trying to figure out what was going on. Then, he caught onto it, and was not happy. Luckily, it was quick and there was a park near by to soothe his sad soul with sand, slides, leaves and other kids. Whew. And now, we can see his handsome face much better.

Lifestyle of the handsome and famous

For those of you who haven't taken the tour, I thought I would share with you Caleb's crib: this is where the magic(al playing) happens.

Pumpkins All Around

Caleb and I stopped off to have a snack before his doctor's appointment and luckily there were some pumpkins nearby for Caleb to crawl on. He calls them "balls" but is definitely getting into this fall thing.

The Park

Quiet Sundays where we all stay in and rest up for the week ahead are OVER. Caleb's got to move. We embraced it Sunday by going to his favorite park where he hit the sandbox (his favorite), ran around and checked out the older kids while we appreciated the fall day and all the beautiful colors around us.

Milk Mustache

Yia yia and Grandpa Jay stopped back by for a brief visit on their way back to Seattle. They got to see Caleb's school and classroom and meet his teachers. We were on the go so much we forgot to get some good photos, but here's a couple of Caleb from brunch on Saturday.

Pumpkin Patch

Family trip to Impossible Acres, a petting farm and U-Pick patch just west of Davis. Its hard to tell if Luke or Caleb had the most fun. Erin, Emily and Dan were frantically taking Claritan and trying to avoid breathing in the hay... Hopefully Caleb doesn't have the same nerd genes.

There were ducklings, lambs, calves, piglets, goats, kids, kittens, chickens, chicks, turkeys, horses, tractor rides and pumpkins! It was fantastic. We finally got to use the new words we've been practicing.

We're still waiting on our wedding photos, but we'll share this as a preview. (Taken at City Hall.)
