Walking!!!

We've all been waiting for this. On Friday, I picked up Caleb at daycare and he walked into my arms. This video was taken that evening.

Daycare is fantastic!

They take photos at daycare and post them on a class photo-sharing site, I'd thought I would share a couple of action shots. Outside he has two favorite activities: sand table, water table. He never comes home in the same clothes we sent him in thanks to the water table, finger painting, eating, etc. He is always in a good mood when we pick him up and always exhausted by the time we get home.

Stinson Beach

We headed up to Stinson for our neighbor's birthday and had a great time at the beach. Even better yet! Caleb took quite a few steps around the house.

We were in the city for some cake tasting (Luke was in heaven) and decided to stop by our old home-away-from-home, the Bell Tower, and the park that was a couple blocks from our old apartment.

School Boy!!

Daycare started September 2nd. We are transitioning him slowly, the first day was a half day (with me there) and then the next he took a nap at school and then spent the afternoon there by himself. Here are some shots of his new school and friends. There are a couple things to get used to, such as sitting at the (mini) table in a (mini) chair rather than being strapped to a high chair; feeding himself all of the time; having someone else clean up the mess from him feeding himself; sleeping on a cot instead of in a crib and so on. His teachers are wonderful and his class is small. He is into everything (no surprise to those who know him) but most everything he can get into!! Pretty fantastic.
