Seattle Aquarium
We had not been to the Seattle Aquarium since the remodel. They kept all of our favorite parts and greatly improved on all the rest. Verdict? Thumbs Up. The touch tanks were moved indoors and expanded, the octopus got a new (awesome) tank and as we were leaving, there was a SCUBA diver in the front tank, giving a demonstration and afterward Caleb went up and gave her a high-five through the glass. We thought we were on our way out until he saw that SCUBA diver, and then he parked his little self on the floor in the front to watch. Then we got lunch at the Pike Place Market, of course.

Madrona
Hi Spot breakfast, Madrona Park. Caleb got a Mickey Mouse pancake that he thought was so pretty that he refused to eat it for a good ten minutes. We were wondering for a bit if he would refuse to eat it all together. He was enamored.

Par Avion
A couple weeks ago when Grandma Lila and Grandpa Ron were visiting, I had a conversation with Grandpa Ron that went like this:
Ron: "Caleb is at that age where he just can't hold still. That drive up to Seattle is going to be really hard on him."
Erin: "Yeah, I suppose, so."
Ron: "Your mom will fly up with him."
Erin: "Sounds good."
So nice of him to volunteer my mom. Luckily, they had a great time. Caleb had no problems going through security and mom said he squealed when the plane took off.

A friend for each
I was such a proud mama-Caleb played so well with Lucy and shared toys and giggled and played games. And Zoe had quality baby time with Ella while mom and dad got in (some) adult conversation. Success!
