We had a very pleasant, festive morning. We stopped at a book store and picked up a couple Christmas books, we got hot chocolate/hot apple cider and then picked out a Christmas tree. Caleb was happy with our wreath selection ("Its a little one!!") and everyone enjoyed themselves. Its been cold here, too, so it really feels like Winter. (See the coats?)

Wonderful Sunday Morning

This, I suppose, is what I am often most Thankful for-silly, yummy, Sunday mornings. Zoe finally has some real chubbers; Caleb helped me make an apple galette from all of the apples we had around and the left over pie dough; lots of giggles; brilliant sunshine.

Thankfully, after our bummer Thanksgiving, we got to finally meet Elise, Chris and Melodi's daughter who was born in June. We had a wonderful pancake breakfast together and it was fun for the girls to meet and to watch Caleb interact with an older baby.

Thanksgiving... disaster

A boy who hasn't been feeling well all week + Two parents who haven't really been feeling great all week + That boy being an energetic, impatient boy + Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant where he has to sit still = DISASTER

We were in and out in 50 minutes. No joke.
