I am realizing that I took a whole bunch of photos on Christmas with Darlene's camera but none on mine...This photo is from the day after Christmas when Jon, O, Ben (from Qatar), Emily and Dan stopped by. (That's a lot of Zulaufs) I'll try to get my hands on Christmas photos soon.
C's new high chair has made it possible to sit up at the table with us. Although all of us were excited about this, it made us realize that we have to keep all of our food out of his arm's radius and that dinner will never be quiet again.
Caleb is becoming more aware of the world around him and expressing that awareness through grabbing any and everything in his reach. He seems to love hair, especially.
I finally finished Caleb's quilt...those of you who knew my Grandma Elizabeth know that she must have been whispering inspiration to me as it much resembles many of her projects. In fact, it was in her memory that I made it. For my fifth birthday (or there about), I was given a quilt that my grandma had made mostly when she was a little girl and my aunt finished later. I still remember laying on my bed, trying to choose which square was my favorite and thinking about how incredible it was that she had made it.
After Dim Sum with Aunt Grace and Uncle Kirk, we took a little drive to the top of Telegraph Hill. I had just woken up from a nap so I was still a little sleepy.
Dan and Emily came over and celebrated Dad's birthday (and Dan's, which is the day after Dad's). These are the little cakes mom made (grandma Lila helped before going back to Seattle).
